Hi! I’m a super cute, 24 year old non-binary, Swede/half slovene living in Malmö. After a few years of studying gender science and authorship at boarding schools, I’m currently working as an elections administrator for Malmo municipality. Aside from that I’m an activist partaking and organizing locally in Malmö within the queer liberation. I’m queer and polyamorous, living with one of my partners in our apartment situated in central Malmö.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few years back me and my friend visited Canada for a month, Couchsurfing at two different households. It was my first experience surfing and I was amazed by the experience. During that trip I not only had a great time, but also got two new longtime friends.

My view of traveling is that it should be about meeting new people and reaching out to new cultures, rather than spending money staying at expensive hotels.

Interests

I love reading and writing on my book script, making kombucha, drinking beer, dancing and clubbing, engaging in activism and playing the piano.

I’ve volunteered at a queer LGBTQ+ bookstore in Malmö, which I’d be very happy to show you! I sometimes skate and love roller derby, and recently I started free-diving and love diving in the ocean. I’m working full time, have three partners and work with activism on my free time so I personally might not have a lot of time for one on one hangouts - but guests are always welcome to join my plans and demos.

Wera, my partner and roommate is 27, former philosophy student and is also a mechanics who loves any handywork. Wera’s a gamer, and sometimes I join in for playing a bit! When they’re not working (full time), Wera’s an amazing free-diver and is also my mentor and teacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love queer fanzines and overall read huge amounts of literature, but I currently mostly read non-fiction. I’m an all kind of person when it comes to music but listens a lot to indie pop, prog, shoegaze and 70s punk. My girlfriend is a Swedish comic artist and I’d love to show you her books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I worked at Lush and with the company travelled voluntarily to Indonesia to visit the jungle and learn about the situation of orangutans and deforestation of the jungle due to palm oil production. It was an interesting, eye opening and very informative and emotionally challenging journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Me and my collective partner love sharing the coffee we drink, the foods we make (not very often classic Swedish food) and the beers, the safe space and music we listen to!

We both love learning and meeting new people and are looking forward to interact with new people wanting to share their cultures and interest.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A friendly place and an energy filled home with a lot of good company, socializing and music! We are a queer and open collective who love meeting new people, inviting them to our homes and our culture.

We can show you the best falafel in Malmö, the coziest cafes, the cheapest beer or the nicest place to dance. If you come at the right time I might also have a fresh batch of kombucha!

We are both pescatarian but don’t have restrictions on our guests regarding what food you bring into our home.

We don’t have restrictions regarding smoking or pets!
