Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Bethânia, Brazilian, currently living in Berlin. I love exploring the world, learning from people from all walks of life, and connecting with different cultures. I’m an easygoing, open-minded person, and I’m always curious to experience something new – from ideas and people to local flavors and customs.
Traveling is one of my greatest passions. After backpacking solo across Europe for six months, I learned to appreciate the little surprises and connections that come with this journey. If I could, I’d live on the road, always searching for good conversations and new stories.
I enjoy meeting people and believe that everyone has something unique to share. So, if you like to exchange ideas and experiences, I’m all ears!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I consider myself a traveler at heart, even while currently settled in Berlin. I find it amazing to be part of a network that connects people from so many places, whether hosting, traveling, or simply exchanging ideas with other travelers. I want to keep discovering the world through the people who cross my path.
For me, Couchsurfing is a way to stay connected to the spirit of travel, and I believe there’s always someone new to meet and something new to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
My playlist is a fun mix of styles, all depending on my mood. When it comes to movies, I love romance and period dramas, so I’ll often choose a rom-com or a historical drama.
In books, I’ve been reading a lot about psychology and philosophy, exploring topics like behavior and self-discovery.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling solo! I backpacked around Brazil and Europe, and it completely changed my view of the world. I spent six months with just a backpack, volunteering in different places and meeting amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m totally open to learning from anyone – whether it’s a language, a recipe, or a local custom. I love listening and absorbing whatever someone has to share. In return, I can share a bit of Brazilian culture, stories from my travels, and a curious outlook on the world (and maybe teach a few Brazilian expressions to liven up conversations!).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, culture, and a good sense of humor. I’m no chef, but I love trying new things in the kitchen. I enjoy sharing travel experiences and cultural insights – from Brazil and the places I’ve been. Plus, I can share tips on what it’s like to live in Europe as a forever “traveler.”
