I am a vegan. I listen to lots of Middle Eastern music and to Alan Watts and Ram Das. At the moment I cannot host, but I am up for the meeting. I can also offer a shower and a washing machine, in case you are travelling in a campervan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am fascinated by music from all over the world,, I hope to live a long life in order to manage to go to many more concerts and festivals and discover more wonderful musicians. I listen a lot to bands and artists from Middle Eastern countries, some of my favourites are Mashrou Leila, Sanaa Mousa, Acid Arab, Kuan, Demarkan Demir, Hamza el Din, Fairuz, Mehdi Aminian, Mubin Dunen, Kara Gunes, Sami Yusuf, Hamidreza Rabharalam, Muslimgauze, Abdel Gadir Salim, Mubin Dunen, Kuan, Yuma, etc., mantras - my favourite so far are Jahnavi Harrison, Lalita Dasika and Krishna Das. I also really like icaros and music from the Andes mountains, sometimes I like positive and life-affirming rap like Anita Tijoux, Buena Vista Social Club type of music, throat singers from Tuva and Altai regions of Russia - Altai Kai and Huun Hur Tu, Latvian (my birth country) ancient songs (bands Tautumeitas and Iļģi), Cheikh Lo and Victor Deme from Burkinafaso, Ukrainian rap/reggae band 5'nizza, Tuareg artists - Bombino, Tinariwen, Tamikrest, soul like Willie Wright, electronic music, etc.
I read almost only books about psychology and philosophy, rarely stories and novels.
I get to see some (sometimes a lot of them) movies and series for my work, so outside of that almost never watch anything, because for 20 years I have had the feeling that I want to be the one that does things instead of watching other people doing something.
