Hi there! I am a French guy living just next to Versailles. I'm definitely not the best guide for Paris. But if you'd like to see something a bit different from the very urban area of Paris, I'd be happy to show you around Versailles and the more relaxed and green lifepace of the suburbs.
Though I also regularly go to Paris to go out, so we can definitely meet up there! I can't promise I'll know the best secret spots of the city, but I believe that a good company can somewhat make up for an average spot ahahah

I have several experiences of living abroad, which gave me a real love for meeting people of different cultures, and stepping out of my comfort zone. To be honest, I am addicted to the thrill of intercultural exchange, and discovering both the country and the individual!

I gave a try to couchsurfing 2 years ago for a solo trip in Turkiye, and I met some really great people. And from having met a few other couchsurfers since then, I really feel like the most atypical individuals and the most interesting stories are from couchsurfers! And I want to keep experiencing this!

Also, I am a pretty chill, open-minded and respectful person, so I should have no problem getting along with most people 😁
And one of my weird hobbies is about learning traditional foreign songs, especially in languages I don't speak, bonus points if it's in some weird niche dialect ahahah! And there are only few things I enjoy more than seeing the face of a foreigner illuminate with stars in their eyes, as I start singing a traditional song from their country out of nowhere! I believe that traditional music has a way to transmit culture and history in a way that other genres cannot, and I like the idea of taking part in this process :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

My main issue is dealing with the loneliness that comes with traveling alone, so hopefully I can find some good company along with great tips on things to do around, when I'm travelling 😁
And when I'm in Paris, I'll all for meeting all kinds of foreigners from all kinds of countries, and hearing their stories and experiences :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm open to host people, but I need to warn that my current flat is not the biggest, and I don't even have a couch to offer, only an inflattable mattress. I'm hoping to change this once I move to a bigger flat, but for now, this is unfortunately all I can offer.
But if this is fine for people, I'd be very happy to host someone for a few days, very very close to Versailles!
