About Me

About me? Little I could say, more than anything I am an experience and in that sense a mere word or adjective for this experience would be: enriching. I do not want to let words take all the attention, the most beautiful things are those that do not seek to be contemplated. I love history, philo and political stuff.

The photos I have here are all old, now I'm uglier and look dumber.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my career I feel a deep concern for the large number of foreigners who come to my country and are taken on tours or taken for a ride by high-income citizens who not only invite them to consumption and disinhibition that offers Bogotá city (and colombia aswell). On the other hand, with the desire to practice languages, I feel the interest to show another face of the city; another face of our continent; another face of our culture.

Everyone here will try to make you feel comfortable and serve you like a colonizer in the time of the conquest. I am not, Im here to make your mind uncomfortable and to make you feel why these sides of the world are still a fortress of revolution and a living monument of rebellion against civilization.

My favorite band is call: "El mató un policia motorizado" which is from Argentina and is a really pinky indie. My favorite book I think would be "La Odisea" of Homero. And the movie that I have watched the most is "The Lord of the Rings". --- Im a freak xd

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did the salkantay trek
Hike Cotopaxi
Survived 3 days in the desert to get to Licancabur
Made it to los Ojos del Salado in Chile
Conqueror of the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to do Graffiti Tours to Finance my College. Can share the history of Colombia, the history of Bogota, the history of my city Barrancabermeja. I like to share knowledge, I get a lot of information and with that i over think everything in the world. Plus I read a lot so I offer an interesting point of view about my perceptions and deep conversation.
