About Me

Hey, everyone! I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, a half-Serb half-Croat, so very Balkan. A student of Clinical linguistics currently residing in Groningen. An urge to discover and learn has lead me to art, philosophy, geography and history and has awaken a deep appreciation for listening to what stories can tell me, so that's why I'm here

I am a passionate language learner and I like to take deep dives into some linguistic topics, so if you know any fun facts about any languages, please let me know

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 When it comes to music, I love listening to traditional music from different countries I visit, but I also love modern experimental music. Some of my favorite artists are Björk, Arca, Joanna Newsom, Cocteau Twins, Beach House, Rosalía, Diego Lorenzini... I have a list of all the albums I've ever listened to, so if you're interested, I can send you it!
🍿 I've only started getting more into movies lately. Some of my favorites are Mulholland Drive, Synecdoche: New York, The Before Trilogy, Crossing Istanbul, The Weekend and Everything Everywhere All At Once.
📚 My favorite genre by far is magical realism with writers such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Salman Rushdie, Haruki Murakami and Juan Rulfo being huge inspirations in the way my mind flows. Virginia Woolf as well has left a huge impact on me
