Overview
About Me
I am a 20-year-old college student who has been living and traveling in Tanzania for the past two years. I recently moved to Colorado in the United States to start my first year of university. I work as a librarian and waitress on campus to pay for my low-budget travels. As a backpacker, I traveled to Kenya, Argentina, Malaysia, Brazil, Singapore, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. I am really into humanities and social work, in my free time I enjoy writing, reading, and singing. I am also a huge fan of the outdoors and hiking is my favorite physical activity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to travel is to connect with people that know the place you are visiting and can share with you their experiences. I am really interested in meeting new people and learning from their perspectives and lifestyles. Overall, I just want to listen what people have to say and learn from them.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band is Seru Giran but I listen to different types of music including rock, afrobeat, salsa, etc. I particularly enjoy reading poetry and the most recent book I read was Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I am not a huge movie person to be honest, but I can enjoy them once in a while!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to be an elite rower of the Paraguayan national team when I was younger, gave a TEDx talk about eating disorders awareness and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am really good at cooking and organizing spaces so I can definitely help with that during my stays. I am also a talkative person so we could share some conversations about politics, traveling anecdotes, culture and just life in general!
