About Me

My name is Emir, I am a professional swimmer, I am about to graduate from 2 universities and I enjoy traveling the world. I m known as a friendly and social person, to meet with people from different culture is a pleasure to me since it give me a chance to do cultural communication and show our national values. I am also individualist that respect people's privacy and have an insight to their inner worlds. So that, I am also attempting to enrich my own as well.
I am into reading especially about American literature,I guess reading stimulates us to be tolerant towards life and people. Latin American countries cultures, history appeal me a lot. 👨‍🎓 Think of me as a living life and live me😎😇😇 my WhatsApp +353832087929

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the things that really motivates me for traveling more and more is meeting with people all around the world. I find lots of things in common when I talk with different people from different parts of the world. Couchsurfing enables me to meet with travelers, locals and make new friends and that is exactly what I like about traveling.

Interests

traveling, hiking in nature especially in mountains, walking long distances (overland trekking), hitchhiking, croscountry skiing, swimming, adventures like paragliding, parasailing, climbing ferratas or scubadiving, visiting festivals for travelers, taking pictures, playing with children, talking about everything, camping, yoga, meditation, I´m not a good at cooking but I'm really interested in different foods of the world and especially to watch other people cooking (and admire them), visit natural atractions like lakes, waterfalls, vulcanos, geysers, caves, different rocks formations, giant trees

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies which leave a trail inside..and a bit weird, strong, dark... Dogville (and other Trier´s movies), T. Gilliam´s work (Brazil!), A. Zvjagincev (Leviathan!), A.Tarkovskij (Stalker!), Shining (and all Stanley Kubrick´s masterpieces in general), Roman Polanski (Repulsion!), Emir Kusturica (Underground!), Waltz with Bashir, anything from excellent surrealist Jan Švankmajer, Miloš Forman (Hair), comedian Dylan Moran (Black Books)... depicted the most powerfull ones to me, the list is pretty long :)

Music is a big issue to me..many many hours of dancing, often just alone..feeling of freedom and joy...... that's the power of music! Impossible to depict just few, I will try some.... Nick Cave, Swans, Devotchka, Joy Division, Firewater, Mark Lanegan, Massive Attack, Portishead, Bjork, 16 Horsepower, Yasmin Levy, Television, Gang of Four, Kalle, Woven Hand, Mari Boine, Pink Floyd, Yann Tiersen, Tom Waits, Kronos Quartet, Coco Rosie, Persian music, folk music of particular regions, modal music, some of electronic music, hardcore stuff,..and many many mooore ..........uf! And always opened to get a new inspiration out of the music library of the others!

I wish I could find more time for reading. Kundera´s Unbearable Lightness of Being is probably one of the number one for me..and Boris Vian´s Foam of the Days and Heartsnatcher..
I am waiting for the one which has a power to absorb the whole of me, to let me disappear, to vanish..... But in general I enjoy those philosophical-existencionalistic-social-critical stuff..and of course the anti-utopic novels as 1984, Animal farm, Brave New world..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do crazy things,I live everything to the maximum

Teach, Learn, Share

Am up for lots sharing of experiences and life. Not sure I can teach anyone anything all said and done. Wisdom, for me, seems to be taking a long time to acquire.

My objective is to continue to learn, particularly about people and what makes them tick; the history, society and politics of the countries in which I am travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are very good cooks, so if there is time and opportunitiy, we would gladly cook our unique and tasty meals. Otherwise, we have plenty of stories & advice, we are happy to do grocery shopping for you, teach you how to grow nice plants etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Colombia, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Azerbaijan, Northern Ireland, Turkey
