I am Mert, I am originally from Famagusta, Northern Cyprus and I am currently studying in Politechnika Częstochowska in Poland.

I am living and traveling together with my girlfriend Simay.
We are both studying Management.

I love basketball, rugby, most genres of music, science fiction and budget travelling. And of course sleeping.

We have travelled around some parts of Europe and Paris was an extraordinary experience for both of us.

We love meeting new people, learning new things and experiencing the life to the fullest,

Being happy and making others happy is what matters the most.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because couchsurfing makes travelling what it really is, getting to meet new people and experiencing the new places like a local. I don't wanna visit a country and be distant to its locals. If I am going to learn and explore a new place it must be with a life educated guide who can fill me in with amazing new perspectives.

I believe that is what makes travels special so I want to host people and be hosted :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I had the chance to run a marathon at Istanbul on the bridge connecting two continents. The view was great but the real deal was the purpose of my run, which is to help gifted orphans with their educational expenses.

I don't believe that I am in place of teaching anything to anyone but I believe I can share all my experiences and listen to theirs, that is what I deem a treasure. I would like to share information about my own culture in return of yours.
