hi hello,

my name is Ema and I’m an ex journalism, now literature and intermedia student in Brno, Czechia. I have a thing for pushing the limits of my own comfort to gain as authentic experience as possible, so hitchhike, low budget travelling or couchsurf became a little bit of an addiction.
apart from the obvious money reason, couchsurf gives me the opportunity to save some of them on accomodation and enjoy it better elsewhere with all the humans I get to vibe with and exchange stories from our travels and lifes. But what I realy apprechiate about this concept is the genuine communal spirit and unconditional kindness to strangers which is very much needed in this world.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I love so many genres and interprets, but closest to my heart and who I am would be punk, jazz, classical and all of their fusions and subgenres.
In movies I love surrealism, body horror, poetic slow-burners or satires, dark comedies. Good script and soundtrack are also something I always notice. For example movies like Blue Velvet or Paris, Texas are one of my favourites.
When it comes to books, I like similar vibe as with movies. Also like sci-fi and magical realism. For example I’m a Murakami fan, but books that are worth to mention are King of Flies, Children from he Station Zoo, Normal People or Franny and Zoey.
