ABOUT ME
We are Maja (25) and Adrian (24), a couple from Germany. We have been together for 7.5 years (probably crazy at that age). After we both finished our bachelor studies and worked full time, we decided to quit our jobs and go on an adventure in our 20s.
And here we are... traveling the world with our backpacks since October 2024.🗺️🎒

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly... we are quite new to Couchsurfing here. We have met so many people on our current backpacker trip who have told us about absolutely amazing encounters and people about Couchsurfing and have recommended it to us. That's why we thought Let's Go! Because we usually have the best moments with locals🫶🏼

We truly believe the real value of CS is to learn and grow through other people no matter from which place on earth.💚

Music:
In every country we visit, there is usually a song that neglects us again and again along the route. Right now it's “Ordinary by Alex Warren” in Indonesia.🎧

Movies:
Adrian loves action, I prefer romance and we both love based on true stories movies as well as a good thriller.🍿

Books:
Adrian loves to read a good thriller while my last book was Normal People from Sally Rooney.📚

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Celebrated the Ogoh Ogoh night before Nyepi with a local family in a small village on Nusa Penida.

4 days on a motorbike with Vietnamese easy riders driving the Ha Giang Loop🏍️

Snorkeling at Ningaloo Reef in Exmouth Western Australia.🦈🪸

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, in our mid-20s we wouldn't claim to be able to share the best life wisdom. But we've been together for 7.5 years and have already experienced a wide variety of trips together, but also lived a normal everyday life with 9 to 5 jobs. We are happy to tell you about it, but we're especially good at philosophising about God and the world over a drink. :)

If u want to learn some German, we can also teach you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can of course help out around the house. We are also happy to have drinks or food together in the evenings and exchange experiences.
