I like to think of myself as an easygoing, hype at times 😅, open-minded and all in all "I'm in" kind of a person.
Love traveling, talking, laughing and understanding the "new" that I come across( whether it is a culture, place, mindset, person...).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this could be a great opportunity to meet new people and experience new culture first hand.
I belive I can find lots of other people who have the same idea of what life and traveling is about. Or better yet, find new ideas and motivations that I can incorporate into my own mindset( if I enjoy their concept)!

Interests

I love getting in touch with different languges and when I do so I like to listen but really LISTEN to them. I feel like I' m trying to find the melody in the spoken word(and yes, there is a melody, I' m not insane 😆). It' s always fun to do so and then over time when you actually start to understand what has been said, all off a sudden you find a different melody in the same words (music is a great way to understand what I'm talking about). Ok..this might seem cheesy and weird so, lets move on real quick!😂
I enjoy talking but I don't like to spend a lot of time on small talk( although, contrary to popular belief, I do feel small talk is important but just in the right dose). I really don't have a favorite when it comes to conversation topics. I feel the best conversations are the ones with a "flow" where the associations make you move forward and keep wandering around the other persons mind ( yes, dear reader, it's just my poetic way of describing how most conversations look like 🙈). Wow, this is getting so cheesy and I'm sure you didn't ask for extra cheese. Oh, speaking of which- food 😍🥰.
I love food. All different kinds of food, all the shapes and sizes of food, all the flavors, all the textures- I love it all ❤️. Been trying to get into some cooking lately and am really enjoying the process!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Salzburg, I visited a beautiful cemetery( again, I'm NOT insane lol sometimes even cemeteries are interesting places to visit and I'm happy that was a part of our tour around town). There was this old lady who, I found out, was 90 and she called for anyone who was around to help her get down the hill. Since I was the only one speaking german around I helped her and she told me she lost almost all of her eysight on one, and all on the other eye. Nevertheless, she came to her husbands grave each day to light a candle. She was very nice and told me about her life. At the end she even kissed my hand which made me very uncomfortable 😅 I felt blessed for such an encounter!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some croatian, german, italian. I can teach you how to make maneštra, pizza, kroštule and some sad šurlice 😅. Cooking with me can be unpredictable, you never know if we will enjoy the meal afterwards or a cozy fire 😁. Also, I can teach you freesyle dancing( I'm actually Renata Bliss).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will do my best to teach my host about my culture and make him/ her more interested in it so that, hopefully, he visites Croatia 😃! Although, there will be no sugar coating, I will give you the real deal 😁.
I will deffinitely do my best at being respectful and caring about my hosts comfort. The last thing I want to do is make you uncomfortable in your own house. The only thing I ask is to be upfront about all your deal- breakers( except the ones that are generally known, this I can figure out myself 😁). If there is anything I can help you with around your home I will be happy to do so!
