Overview
About Me
Where to start? Philosophy graduate, English but with an Italian passport. I grew up in the Italian mountains and the thirst for nature and culture has never waned, even through my years in Cardiff.

Interests
I grew up in nature and learnt from a young age to appreciate it fully. Now that I'm educating myself more I'm desperate to do something for the environment and to change the way we live.
I'm also a very creative person, I enjoy any type of art, but particularly the visual forms: I do a lot of photography at the moment, but you may catch me drawing or painting or writing!
Music is one of the building blocks that is most key to my person. I play a couple of instruments, namely guitar and some piano; listening to music really shapes me though. There is nothing I won't listen to, as long as I find creativity in it, and I love discovering little-known artists.

Music, Movies, and Books
Integral albums of my life: Gorillaz, Gorillaz; Clandestino, Manu Chao; any Linkin Park; any Pink Floyd, emphasis on the '70s releases; Californication, Red Hot Chili Peppers. More recently EPs by Matilda Mann and most releases by Malaki. That'll do for now.
Books: infinitely rereadable Catch-22 by Joseph Heller; any book or graphic novel by Neil Gaiman; factual books on my mind at the moment: Rebirding by Benedict MacDonald; This Isn't Happening by George Monbiot; Stalingrad by Anthony Beever; Africa's Tarnished Name by Chinua Achebe.
Movies: directors I enjoy include Darren Aronofsky, Wes Anderson, Roy Andersson, Quentin Dupieux, Quentin Tarantino.. and more? Favourite films, however: The Usual Suspects; The Blues Brothers; The Darjeeling Limited. Honourable mentions: Baby Driver; Spiderman, Into The Spiderverse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life without electricity at Cabo Polonio, Uru. Living the bare minimum and discovering the true necessities of a human in Rio Ceballos, Arg.
Teach, Learn, Share
My interests vary incredibly, and I'm eager to learn as much as I can about anything. I'm happy to help teach some English, Italian, or a some photography skills too, though I'm not a pro. I love sharing things I've learned, but I don't have a comprehensive list!
