Well, normally it's not difficult for me to get along with any kind of people.

I probably don't need to add here that I really enjoy travelling, cause, well, I believe this a common point among people who uses the platform.

I'm vegetarian for the animals and for the environment (but I won't bother you about that, I swear), love cooking vegan stuff for me and specially for others.

I'm born and raised in the coast of Brazil, so chilling on the beach is one of my favorite things to do. At the same time, hikings and mountains are a great way to spend some time as well :) being in contact with nature amuses me in general.

Beers are always nice. Parties sometimes, but I'm more a chill guy, when I'm not camping in festivals.

Anyway, as we say in Brazil, "aqui não tem tempo ruim", which means I'm in to basically any thing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Spent 7 months of 2022 travelling and had a bunch of people helping from pure goodwill. I'm back home now, and would gladly return the acts of kindness!

Making connections and hearing people talking about what they have to say about life is awesome.

Also, staying with someone who knows the city is the best way to have an immersive experience in local culture :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
OK, this one will be kinda hard.
I had my phases.
My musical taste is kinda wierd for most people and it ranges from elevator music to "is this even music?" but if there's one thing I love on this world is recommending bands/songs to others.

I'm in to basically:
Rock - from metalcore to post-rock and Math-rock - with a lot in between;

Jazz, (mainly smooth jazz and eletro swing)

Forró and samba (brazillian style! I'd be happy to show you)

Raggae and dub;

Electronic music - there is a world of styles and genres of electronic music. I enjoy the wierdest ones 🤷. And if you're into meditation or even working on music, I got some nice projects (artists) you may like.

Movies:
For me, the best decade of cinema is the 90's
Most of my favorite movies, in any genre were produced in this 10 years.
Love mind blowing movies like Oldboy, Seven and Fight club.

Also enjoy comedy and animations (Pixar ️)

I got the name of a movie (documentary from the 80's) tattooed on my arm. Its called Koyaanisqatsi (which translates to "life out of balance") and its about the way we live as a society and individuals.

Books:
I've been reading a lot about veganism this last months. Working as a teacher, I could read about education as well :)

Not a big fan of romances, but fictions are cool (like 1984, from George Orwell and Brave New World, from Huxley).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think saving money and just leaving everything behind to travel the world is pretty cool. Most of the people I know wouldn't have the courage to do so. I'm not a big fan of the 9 to 5 way of living, so for me it was a must thing to do :)

Hitchhiked from Zagreb to Tirane by myself (most of the time)!

Well, working as a science/maths high school teacher in the past 7 years has taught me that everyone has something to teach, and everyone has something to learn.
