Hey there! I'm Sarah, a 36-year-old Brazilian lawyer currently soaking up the sun in Malta. I'm a passionate traveler with a soft spot for ancient ruins, museums and breathtaking coastlines. When I'm not exploring new destinations, you can find me curled up with a good book or lost in the rhythm of a live concert.

I love meeting people and sharing stories over a cup of coffee, tea or some beer. I also love driving long distances. I miss it a lot because I don't have a car in Malta.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life. I love a variety of genres, from rock and samba to blues and jazz. Some of my favorite artists include Mercedes Sosa, Nina Simone, Florence and the Machine, Chico Buarque de Holanda, Martinho da Vila, Metallica, and the Rolling Stones.

I'm also a voracious reader. I enjoy biographies, literature, poetry, and more. Some of my favorite books include 'The Women Who Run with Wolves' by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee, poems by Fernando Pessoa, and 'Dear Ijeawele, Or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions' by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

When it comes to movies, I have a wide range of tastes. I love classics like 'A Beautiful Mind' and 'Braveheart,' foreign films like Almodóvar's works, quirky comedies like 'Little Miss Sunshine,' epic adventures like 'Lord of the Rings,' and thought-provoking dramas like 'Wild' and 'The Pelican Brief.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can whip up some delicious homemade meals and introduce you to the flavors of my country. I'm also happy to show you some of my favorite local trails and share my knowledge and culture.
