Hi, I’m Ken — nice to meet you!

Traveling has always been more than sightseeing for me. I love beautiful landscapes, of course, but what inspires me most is getting close to the everyday lives of the people who live in each place.

As a student, I spent almost a year wandering around the world (I wish I had known about Couchsurfing back then!). After seeing so many different ways of living, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in International Education and Development in the UK starting in September 2026.

I’m leaving my job as a banker in March, and until grad school begins, I’ll be back on the road again — slowly, curiously, and open to meeting people everywhere.

I’d love to connect with hosts and travelers who can share their local stories, hidden spots, and everyday culture. My English is still a bit broken, but I’m always excited to learn through conversation.

I’m happy to talk about travel, music, movies, books, and the (probably unique) nature of this Far Eastern island nation I come from. Looking forward to meeting you somewhere in the world!
