My name is Miguel and I am Portuguese that grew-up in a small town in the center of Portugal. I was working in Bulgaria for almost 2 years for a financial institution where I had a great time and lived some awesome new experiences. Even though I enjoyed my time there a lot, I decided to quit my job and follow my lifelong dream of travelling the world as much as I can.

Since then, I’ve been on an incredible solo journey for almost two years, filled with unforgettable experiences and countless lessons. I started my adventure in Thailand and then moved on to Australia, where I lived and worked for several months. Since then, I’ve continued traveling around Asia, exploring new places, and immersing myself in different cultures. My travel experience has taught me so much about the world and myself, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing on this journey. I’m always up for trying new things, learning from others, and contributing wherever I can. Couchsurfing and Workaway have been incredible ways for me to experience new places authentically and to form meaningful connections with locals. I’m excited to keep this adventure going and to see where the road takes me next!

Some of my favourite things to do revolve around travelling (of course :D), sports, nature, photography, meeting new people and sharing stories.

Shutter Island come to mind, I like movies with a plot twist
I recommend The Little Prince a lot, it has a very strong message. I liked The Alquimist too, it made me want to travel more.
