About Me
Hello whoever you are, my name is Lisa 🌞
I'm quite an open-minded person and enjoy meeting new people with different characters, lifestyles and mindsets.
I love being outdoors, exploring new cities and landscapes, and I'm always ready to try new things, cook, drink, talk about anything or nothing and listen to good music.
I'm a very sport-loving person, do a lot of calisthenics, bouldering, climbing, hiking and yoga - so normally i'm always up for doing something active.
I think I have many sides in a way - I can be very extroverted, party with people, do active things and be crazy; but I can also be very quiet and chill, talk and philosophize about deep things, or just lie there for hours not talking and stargazing.
For me, travelling doesn't mean staying in a hotel somewhere in a tourist hotspot, but rather exploring the area I'm visiting, getting involved in the authentic way of life there and getting to know the local people.
To complete my profile in the context of what I do for a living: I studied architecture and currently work in an urban planning and development office in Aachen.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. From rock to reggae. From rap to soul. From indie to pop. From electro to jazz. There are still some left, but it always depends on my mood. I'm always open for new inspiration.
I read a lot and love to take something from it for my life, so i'm mostly into non-fiction books, but also more and more into novels. Always up to good recommendations! Here are some of my fav books so far:
Non-fiction:
To have or to be - Erich Fromm
Thank & grow rich - Pam Grout
A brief history of human kind - Yuval Noah Harari
Factfulness - Hans Rosling
Eating Animals - Jonathan Safran Foer
Novels:
When Nietzsche wept - Irvin D. Yalom
Midnight Library - Matt Haig
The spinoza-problem - Irvin D. Yalom
The alchemist - Paulo Coelho
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jordan:
Stargazing in the middle of the desert Wadi Rum, on top of a pickup truck, with the Milky Way very clear and the sky filled with a million stars, in company of a crazy stranger doing wild dances in the sand to Arabic music, drinking a few beers, creating new star images for ourselves and just enjoying the moment.
Palestine:
Driving in the middle of the night to the top of the mountain overlooking the Dead Sea, camping there and waiting some hours for the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen.
Italy:
My first night in Rome, picked up by my new host, who showed me the most beautiful spots of the city on his motorbike in a warm summerbreeze and all the majestic roman buildings staged in the light without any other tourist around, until 4 am.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the best thing we can share with each other is genuine laughter, sincere listening, being present and open to new things.
