About Me

Hello! I am an enthusiastic and curious woman, who is dancing through her life. I live in a very international community in my home town, something that I absolutely love. I am a vegetarian and I deeply care about the planet, which I express by organising montly meet ups in my city (called 'climate cafés') where citizens can meet and exchange their climate friendly ideas and initiatives. After summer I will move to Berlin for 6 months for my internship about sustainable urban development. Can't wait! But first: let's travel some time through Europe! I am pretty new here at CS, but super excited to get to know the community!

P.s. unfortunately, I am allergic to cats and dogs. So I can't stay with you if you have either have one of them :(

P.p.s. I am not using this app for dating

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will travel through Europe this summer for about a month. It is going to be my first solo trip and I am nervous as hell, but also very excited. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity for me to meet open interesting people and to discover if I would like to be host in the future myself.

Interests

Passionate hiphop dancer, and interested in politics, climate and environmental policy. Love to cook and to bake. Can appreciate both nature and the city, and a good glass of wine as well as a good cup of coffee. I really like Tony Chocolonely (the Dutch chocolate brand, big fan of them), I am fascinated by the idea of the Well-being economy, and you can wake me up for Parmigiana di Melanzane (favourite dish ever!).

Teach, Learn, Share

To learn from you: your vegetarian signature dish (or maybe even vegan, also open for that). Your worldview, as I am always curious to what people motivates to live the life they are living. So even if you see a lot of things on my profile that you don't agree with: don't hesitate to send me a message!

To share: I gave many hiphop classes in the past, and would be happy to teach you some moves. Some recipes, such as my vegetarian stamppot recipe (the traditional Dutch dish), apple pie, or a pumpkin-feta salad.

I can offer you some very respectful, kind, non-judgemental, and happy company. Willing to help you out in the kitchen, cook a meal for you, do some groceries, or help you in the garden. And ofcourse I will leave the place at least as clean as the moment of arrival.
