Hi, we are Adèle and Hugo, 2 young french people living currently in Paris. We like to travel together and we had already the opportunity to visit a lot of different countries together, but mostly in Europe yet.
In August, we will do a train trip in the North of Italy during 2 weeks, and we would like to meet some peoples if possible. We are really open to new adventures, advice and culture sharing !

Hugo is a student in public affairs, interested in educational policies over the world. He traveled a lot by the past and he's looking forward to try new ways of travelling with couch surfing. He finds the concept awesome and he would like to try it in order to meet new people and thus, learning more efficiently about the visited country or region.
For my part, I'm studying environmental policy and I'll work in international negotiations on biodiversity next year. I'd like to share with you about nature and environment, but also learn the local culture from you, and to discover your good plans to visit your country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just downloaded the app because some of my friend are doing a huge road trip while using Couchsurfing to meet people, have new extraordinary experiences and have the possibility to be hosted easily. Since I'm going on a train trip in Italy with Hugo, I thought it might be an excellent idea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an Erasmus in Prague, Czech Republic during one year in 2021, when everything was closed because of Covid. I experienced lockdowns and curfews in a city I didn't know and a language I didn't speak. Eventually, it appears to be my best experience since I discovered some amazing friends and I had the possibility to visit Prague without any tourists, which is really rare.

Hugo had the same international experience in Umeå, in Sweden, where he lived 6 months this year. He traveled a lot during his erasmus (Norway, Finland, Estonia..) and met a bunch of new people.

It could be awesome to continue our international experience with couchsurfing !

Teach, Learn, Share

I (Adèle) like to share about the french culture and language, and I'd be happy to teach you some of it. This is something I'm used to do with my current flatmate who is learning French (he's Austrian).

Hugo used to be a teacher and loves sharing his knowledges and general stuff with people that he meets. He's actually passionnate with learning new skills, new cultures, new things everyday and also sharing them.
