I am an active person with an extroverted temperament who loves to learn new things. My favourite activities are sport, travelling, getting to know foreign cultures, music and last but not least, everything that is connected to nature. I was always interested in the magic of life, from muscles to trees, therefore I decided to apply to study biology at uni to learn more about it. Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To meet locals, to have fun and challenge my point of view:)

Before knowing couchsurfing my travels were so superficial - sightseeing is nice, but do we actually understand the culture while looking at some architecture?

Ofcourse it is important, but we can easily interpret things wrongly. Locals can help us understand how people are thinking in that specific culture and we can learn something new and beneficial for our future life.

Plus isn’t it cool to meet like-minded people?

I have too many interests and wish to be able to do all of it…

Sports: mostly running, swimming, biking (as I lived in the Netherlands it is a must xd), climbing, acrobacy, skiing (i am a certified ski instructor), horseriding, snorkling, volleyball…

Music: I play guitar and sing. Trying to compose songs but very beginner harmonies.

Learning languages and traveling: stating the obvious! I know random words in random languages and find etymology (science about the origin of words), very interesting:) Learning flags and their origin is also fun.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Currently I love listening to Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Manu Chao and Bad Bunny. I appreciate mostly the older artists, because of the complex melodies and creative texts. But good reggaeton or cumbia is always welcome!! While watching movies I prefer to relax - comedies, romance… Belmondo is and always will be my hero! Books are saint for me, Hemingway and his language is amazing and has books for almost every vibe. I like reading Kundera, Walker, Puškin, Kerouac or Shakespeare… But lately don’t have that much time to read, so cannot really have a good conversation about books xd
