Hi, I am Kathlene from Taiwan!!

A little bit about myself

Pardon my boring introduction. 26, and love to explore places even though i am just staring to do it. Speak fluent Chinese, English and a little German.

Born in Taiwan 🇹🇼, raised in Singapore 🇸🇬. I moved back to Taiwan in 2020, it has been more than 4 or 5 years now & yes, it might seem like a small country but i promise you, there is a lot to discover in this wonderful land 🤙🏻

So far i have spent 1 year in Tainan, 1/2 year in Kaohsiung, 3 year & counting in 📍Taichung (where i live)

After having my first solo trip in Europe (Aug 2022) using Couchsurfing, i am inspired to host people in my country, Taiwan. I hope to deliver the same great experiences i had with all my lovely hosts or even better! Do drop me a message if you ever step a foot in Taichung, i would be more than welcome to meet and bring you around if i happened to be available 👍🏻

It is definitely a great way to expand connections, make friends & exchange travel experiences & stories ✊🏼
Most importantly, having a glimpse into the local culture & food!

兴趣

Highly interested in discovering places. Love mountains & running. Any kind of sports or adventures.

Gym addict, but i am not all about weigh lifting, legs / arms days. I only do treadmills. Cycling on the weekends to my so called “quiet place” is how i like to end off a hectic week.

Recently developed a love for swimming and stand up paddling 🌊

Other than sports, i do love to look at google map to randomly look up for good foods and save them on my food-hunt list. Tag a friend along and expand our palates together, we could do the same if you are down for a little food adventure 😉

Language of interest : French, German, Spanish, Czech, Japanese and Russian 😀 0 knowledge on Russian though
