About Me
**I'll be in the process of finishing my master's thesis this autumn. For this reason, I would not be possible for me to host after september.**
Heads up: I only accept personalized requests from people with references.

(Je parle français)
My name is Laurence and I am from Québec. I am a master's student in sociology. I am actively involved as an activist and researcher in feminist and LGBTQ+ associations and projects. I live a vegetarian lifestyle and have a keen interest in permaculture. I enjoy hiking, reading, practicing yoga, meeting new people and exploring the world.
I was lucky enough to be hosted by some incredible and caring people on my several months trip in Europe during summer 2023. It’s a pleasure to now host people in my own home in Québec.
I look forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of traveling through sharing and exchanging, allowing you to meet new people and have an immersive experience in the places you visit. This is what motivated me to join Couchsurfing over two years ago!
Simplicity and the unexpected are at the heart of my lifestyle, especially when I travel, with my backpack and at the rhythm of the present moment, with my mind and heart turned towards inspiring encounters.
When I'm home, I want to give back to all the people who welcomed and helped me during my adventures by helping the community of travelers from everywhere. As a host, Couchsurfing allows me to feel the energy of travel while I'm at home, and to rediscover the city where I live.
