About Me
Hi everyone!
My name is Tomas and I have been into couchsurfing for quite a while already, always over my flatmate's profile. After a couple of years hosting people and sharing adventures I managed to save 13€ and decided to get an account on my own! ;)
I am a curious, dynamic and open person who loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and learning from them.
Among my interests you may find language, philosophy, history, sports, science, music and literature, but I will always be glad to learn something new!
--------- IMPORTANT ---------
My life is quite unpredictable and I travel a lot because of my work, thus I will most probably not be able to give you an answer if you ask for a stay more than one week in advance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been doing it together with my flatmate for some years now and I decided it is time to have my own account. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of things, ranging from Funk to Romanian Folklore. A couple of musts: Led Zeppelin, Sonic Youth, The Mars Volta, Hector Lavoe, Buena Vista Social Club. Some lesser known cool bands out there: Vulfpeck, The Aristocrats, Altin Gun, La Plazuela
My bookshelf is as varied as my Spotify and I also read a lot, but I tend to enjoy more philosophical novels and non-fiction. My favourite book? Probably Faust.
I think I have too much energy and it is difficult for me to stay watching a screen for two hours straight. Specially when it's an action movie... I want action myself! Still, I can say that I'm a big fan of the old Almodovar and love Nuovo Cinema Paradiso and Forrest Gump. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I know 5% of the world's Volapük speaking population.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer long conversations about the random topics and facts that I do not even know why am informed about, seven languages to switch constantly, morning or evening runs and tortilla de patata.
Now that you got here, please let me know that you are not simply looking for free accomodation by starting your message with "PATATAS".
