I am quite socially acceptable but I would rather be honest. Honesty is a lovely quality. If we would all be truthful, we would all live in harmony. That’s just what i have learnt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started to use Couchsurfing when i was traveling, but never couchsurfed. Now i would like to open up my house to travelers. Also it is interesting to try and describe myself in this ‘about me’ section

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly to Kirtan and bhajans. Besides that I like lots of genres but I highly enjoy devotional music.
I like to read the Gita most of the time, and I enjoy poetry, like Kabir or Rumi. I am reading Way of A Pilgrim, and also another lesser known book about the history of women in early Christianity. I like books on religion but even more i like books that encapture the divine beauty of nature, of the soul, of the Truth.
I don’t like to watch many movies anymore. I like it sometimes if it’s a good one

I am a good cook and baker (vegan). My English and Dutch are good and i can teach this. I love nature and am discovering foraging and can teach about this. I can also share what I know about religion and spirituality.
