I'm Luca. I study maths. (I've started studying medicine, but I'm more into maths honestly).

In my freetime I do a lot of sports. I love swimming, running and cycling. That's why I do triathlon. In addition to that I play underwater rugby, like hiking and do fitness kickboxing. Because doing sports makes me hungry, I also like cooking, ecspecially vegetarian dishes.

I'm a lifeguard since I'm sixteen. In Germany this is a volunteer work and I realy enjoy the work outside at the beach, I like helping in medical emergencies and I love swimming in the sea. This joy in doing lifeguarding, I share with kids, when I teach them how to do rescue swimming.

When I want to do something more relaxing, I like playing the guitar, listening to music or drinking a cup of tea

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love traveling and meeting new people, but I don't have a lot of money as a student. I try become more confident in speaking foreign languages and I'm interrested to get a view in the daily life of others

Music, Movies, and Books

I read mostly books with an autobiographic input, also historical novels and books about science. My absolute favorite book is "Turning: a year in the water", because I love the description of the landscapes and her personal thoughts.
