My name is Jordi Guimerà Gallent and I'm 23 years old, I'm from a small town in Catalonia called Móra d'Ebre. I am finishing my degree in mechatronics engineering (one subject away from finishing it) and I would like to live new experiences and meet people from all over the world to learn different cultures and languages. I am passionate about sports, I love running, tennis, basketball, skiing, climbing, slackline and highline among many others. I recently got my scuba diving qualification (Open Water) and I loved it! I also like surfing although I would like to learn more!
Apart from sports I love books, my favorites are: Siddhartha and Where the Trees Sing and learning new things.
I also like to go out with my friends to have a drink but not for long hours because I think it's a waste of time!
I do love music.

Mi nombre es Jordi Guimerà Gallent y tengo 23 años, soy de un pequeño pueblo de Cataluña llamado Móra d'Ebre. Estoy acabando de estudiar la carrera de ingeniería mecatrónica (a una asignatura de acabarla) y me gustaría vivir nuevas experiencias y conocer gente de todo el mundo para aprender las diferentes culturas así como sus idiomas.
Soy un apasionado del deporte, me gusta mucho correr, jugar a tenis, basket, esquiar, escalar, slackline y highline entre muchos otros. Hace poco me saqué el título de buceo (Open Water) y me encantó! También me gusta el surf aunque me gustaría saber más!
A parte del deporte me encantan los libros, mis favoritos son : Siddhartha y donde los arboles cantan y en definitiva aprender cosas nuevas.
También me gusta mucho salir con mis amigos a tomar algo aunque no estar muchas horas porque me parece perder el tiempo.
Me encanta la música.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really into Couchsurfing for two reasons:
The first reason is because I did last year a couchsurfing for the first time in Norway and I had a very good experience with the people there.
The 2nd reason is mainly because I am in a moment of total abyss in my life, since I have almost finished my degree and I still don't know what I'm going to do with my life. I want to make a change doing more sports (although I already do) but I would like to sign up for tennis or futsal or gym and start going more seriously. Besides I want to make a change in my diet to feel better because sometimes I feel a little tired and improving my habits every day I think it could be good for me.

La verdad estoy en Couchsurfing por dos razones :
La primera razón es porque hice el año pasado un couchsurfing por primera vez en Noruega y me tube muy buena experiencia con la gente de allí.
La 2na razón es principalmente porque estoy en un momento de mi vida de abismo total, ya que casi he acabado la carrera y todavía no sé que voy a hacer con mi vida. Quiero hacer un cambio haciendo más deporte (aunque ya hago) pero me gustaría apuntarme a tenis o futbol sala o al gimnasio y empezar a ir más en serio. A parte quiero hacer un cambio en mi dieta para sentirme mejor ya que a veces me siento algo cansado y mejorando los hábitos cada día creo que me puede ir bien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible thing I've ever done is highline! It's like slackline (a rope for balancing) but with more height. What an adrenaline rush!!!!

Lo más increíble que he hecho es hacer highline!! Es como slackline ( una cuerda para hacer equilibrio) pero con más altura. Menuda adrenalina!!!!
