My name is Patrick, Pat for short, and I am a 22 year old university student from Melbourne, Australia, who is ready to go out and explore the world and connect with amazing people, and make some everlasting friendships and memories. I am taking a trip to the Phillipines, to escape the mundane repetitive life of work and studies. I am excited to see new places and explore new cultures, to widen my perception on the world, and see what is really outside the small Melbourne bubble that I currently live in. I am an energetic, kind-hearted man who loves sports and the outdoors, and will never say no to experiencing something new.

I have returned to Couchsurfing after using it in 2023. I absolutely love using this platform to meet locals, where cultural exchange can occur, whilst making new friends and everlasting memories.

I'm on couchsurfing because I think it is an amazing platform to meet and connect with people from other cultures and parts of the world. I believe the best way to see a place, is too see it through the eyes of a local, and I believe couchsurfing provides this opportunity. I'm hoping to have interesting, deep and knowledgeable conversations with others that allow each of us to learn about eachother and our own cultures.
