I'm French 🇫🇷 and coming from Brittany (West region) and I'm currently studying in Normandy, I've started in September 2022 a Master in Sustainable Urbanism. Last year, I had the chance to live in two wonderful countries. I studied one semester in Reading, England 🇬🇧. The second semester I did an internship in Denmark 🇩🇰 in an NGO on Renewable Energy. I've met such extraordinary people during this year, it was so enriching and now I can't wait to leave again France for another adventure!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I used Couchsurfing it was with two friends from Spain and Germany, we've met each other during an internship in Denmark. We had to go to a conference in Bonn, Germany, to go there we had to cross Flensburg and sleep one night there. I had never heard about Couchsurfing before, and I found it was such an amazing opportunity to meet amazing people.
A really nice men hosted us in Flensburg, after cooking and having dinner together we went swimming, then came back home under the rain 😁🌧️ I loved this evening so much!! 🤩

Currently, with French classmates we've decided to organise a new adventure: riding bike 🚲from Normandy, France,🇫🇷 to Samsø Island, Denmark🇩🇰 to promote sustainable transport. 🌿 We would like to share this experience with people along the road to Denmark. So we're 4 and we're looking for a tiny place to sleep during the trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lastly, I was leaving in Northern Denmark, and I discovered a place: Thy Nationalpark, and I fell in love with this place. It's a huge area of dunes and forests 🌲 ! I had the chance to spend wonderful times there, I remember one special evening because the sunset on the North Sea was particularly beautiful and I could share this moment with good friends, we went swimming and then warmed our cold bodies around a campfire 🔥

Teach, Learn, Share

I have my sailing instructor diploma, I used to work in a sailing club during summers. I loved it so much, I like teaching and sharing my experiences and knowledge to other people. So, I'll be happy to talk about it. Consequently, I'll be happy to teach French or talk French to people I'll meet.
