Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Roman!
I am an engineering degree student at FIIT STU Bratislava, so kind of IT guy but certainly not a stereotype. Already during high school, I fell in love with traveling when I hitchhiked and participated in Erasmus+ projects all over Europe. Currently I am on Erasmus in Barcelona till end of the June. I had a one couch here so please don't request more than one person :D.
In my free time, I like to do some sports like volleyball, football, and hockey ball or also play guitar or read good books. Hiking is also my passion. There is nothing better than packing a backpack and hitting the mountains - the BEST PART is enjoying a good beer at the top.
I am also a big animal lover and you can see my fella Charlie in the last photo on my profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always believed that people should help each other, and shared experiences are the best. Since high school, I have worked as a volunteer in several organizations and continue to do so during university. On my trips, however, I often depended on the kindness of others and people helped me many times. I believe that through this application I will find such people and I will join this community one day as a host too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lord of the rings will always have place in my heart! and all kind of fantasy films/books. Also I love to read about self-development and crime books. Some of my favourite authors: Paulo Coelho, Timothy Ferriss, J. R. R. Tolkien.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I overcame my fear of heights. I started to learn to climb rocks and conquered many difficult ferratas in the Dolomites.
