Hi there! My name is Juultje (just call me Juuls. I’m a 19 year old travel lover from the Netherlands. After finishing highschool I started to save money for a trip. I finally made it, I arrived in Australia! I love to discover the unknown, learn new things and go out of my comfort zone. I like to share story’s and get to know new people.

I am open minded, adventurous, kind, thoughtful and easy going.

The first few months I will travel together with a Dutch girl! I can’t wait to make new memories and have some amazing experiences. I’m new on this platform so I hope I’ll have a good experience 🙈

I would love to meet people and learn a lot from them. To share experiences, explore a bit and have a lot of fun! I’m also on a low budget, traveling as a 19 year old in Australia, so this would be a perfect way to be able to continue my trip! Plus, traveling is always a bit scary, you need to trust the right people and offer the right people. I would be happy to feel safe in someone’s place and in the same time learn about them, about their culture and make some awesome memories.

I fell in love with traveling when I went to India for a school project. I continued traveling by myself, first in Europe, now in Australia. Traveling also includes meeting new people, learn about a new culture and make spontaneous trips.
I like to write in my diary to proces faster, give another look at situations and learn to understand what I’m feeling. It’s a very good way to let go of things and also to see your own growth. I also like to draw, scrapbook or read.
I edit video’s, especially travel video’s. I used to have a active YouTube channel, now I don’t post regular anymore. But you can check it out: juultjevanraaij
I love to play games! Rummikub, card games, 30 seconds, yahtzee… And learning new ones.
I love to sing & dance! Clubbing could be fun, or just dancing wherever:)
I’m a big animal lover. I’m so exited to meet some animals I’ve never seen before. I have a dog myself (I really do miss her), my favorite animals are butterflies.
I’m very passionate about spirituality. I also like to learn more about meditation and yoga. I’m a highsensitive person so I focus on what I feel (and others feel) all the time.
I love to spend time with children, I used to babysit over 40+ children in the Netherlands. They we’re all so sad for me leaving:(
I love vintage clothes. I used to sell a lot on vinted (platform for giving your clothes a second life).
And last but not least, I love a good conversation. I do like the ‘basic’ talk also, but real deep conversation about some real stuff… well, I’m definitely in.

Music: I love a lot of different genres. It really depends on the situation/ mood. One of my favorite musicians that never get me bored is Bruno Mars. I also like to discover new artists like Fia, her lyrics is so deep… I love that. 80’s / 90’s music, love that too. Or just some good bangers! I love to sing & dance so please let me discover some new artists:)
Movies: I do love romances, but I also like a good classical movie. At the moment I’m watching the serie Manifest on Netflix, I love it.
Books: I like to read spiritual books, books for development but also romances. Last book I read; Bridgerton

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’ve build a boat for a project in India. We took the boats to a lake and went driving them. I met some Australian people over there that now, 5 years later, I will meet again.

I actually do know a lot about spirituality, self development, finding passion in life... I could share my knowledge about how to arrange a trip by yourself (I arranged mine by myself). I can teach you how to edit video’s, how to capture nice shots or how to share your video’s on YouTube/ social media! I used to play soccer but I can’t anymore because of an accident. But of course I can still teach a bit:) I can learn you some Dutch words and share my culture. I can share story’s, experiences and lessons I learned in life.
