Hey there! We are Fynn and Zoé, a couple from Germany, both 19 years old and we live in a small town one hour away from Cologne. We just finished school and now we would like to gain experiences, meet new people and get to know new cultures. I (Fynn) have a little brother and my parents are teachers. I am able to speak english and french and I would like to learn new languages. In the following months I want to study geography and do my environmental master. I like to play football, listen to music and I just started to play the guitar. I am a very caring and open minded person and you can have a lot of fun with me. I (Zoé) have an older brother and my mother is also a teacher. My father works as an IT-manager. Since my father is a french man, I also speak french fluently. I would consider myself as a musician because i love to play the piano, but I also keep learning further instruments. My other hobbies are playing football, reading, cooking and I also spend a lot of time with my family, friends and my boyfriend. They play an important role in my life. I am an open-minded, euphoric and optimistic person who cares a lot about other people.
In generel we are very uncomplicated and we are sure that there won't be any problems or complications with us and that we will pass a great time together. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are currently travelling around New Zealand. Usually we do work and travel to get accomodation through some hours of work per day. But in some cases we only need a place to stay for a couple of nights, so we are hoping to find some people on couchsurfing. Furthermore that's a good opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, which is our biggest interest in travelling. We also love to cook, so while staying with you, it would be a pleasure for us to cook for you :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We just discovered the Tui bird and we are so in love with it 😍😍
Furthermore we were in the Redwood forrest in Taupo and were really impressed of all the lights by night. That was something really special, we never saw before. We would really recommend doing this!! :)
And of course your beautiful sky of stars on South Island. Coming from Germany, we couldn't believe what we were seeing. In generel all of New Zealand's beautiful nature.🥰

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are really openminded people and we enjoy to get to know new people and make new friends. So in the first place we honestly are interested in meeting YOU and not only searching for accomodation. Consequently if we stay in contact, you are always welcome to come and stay with us, if you are travelling to Germany.
In addition we are able to speek German and French fluently, so if you are interested in learning new languages, we would be happy to teach you some sentences. We also are very interested in learning new languages and getting to know new cultures, so if you speak any languages, feel free to teach us everything you know :)
As we already wrote, we are good hobby cookers, so in return of accomodation, we always cook at least one dinner for the host. We are nearly vegetarians (we only eat meat as an exception), so we know some cool vegetarian or vegan recipes. And we are always happy to get to know new recipes, so if you also are interested in cooking we are looking forward to the exchange of recipes. :)
I (Zoé) play the piano since I am 6 years old and I (Fynn) just started playing the guitar. So if you also are music loving and if you are a host with instruments, we are looking forward to a little jam session. :)
