Hello! I'm Zélie, I live in Cévennes, a region with medium mountains in south of France. I'm used to the countryside, and ma house has a garden, we grow vegetables which feed us a part of the year, and we have chickens. I feel close to nature, and for me, it's very important that human suceed in living in harmony with it. In high school, I was involved in a Youth For Climate group. I love hiking in beautiful landscapes. I love playing board games. I play a little piano and like Irish music.
I'm open to discovering all the things that come on my way. I like learning and I'm involved in what I do.
I'm a little shy but I'm interested in others and easy going in everyday life.
Recently, I realized that I have dyspraxia. So when it comes to manual work, I don't work very fast, but I'm diligent and do my best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just finished high school and I want to take time for reflexion about what's next, that's why I decided to undertake this travel during this year. When I was 15, with my parents and my sister, we went on a two-month trip to Indonesia with Workaway. It was a real project, prepared a long time in advance, before leaving we had started to learn Indonesian. It was an incredible experience, and since then I dream to restart, and I finally found the opportunity. I would like to discover other cultures, different realities of mine, broaden my view of the world. I also want to improve my english. I'd like to meet people and have rich human experiences. I also want to learn new know-how, and agriculture seems central to me because it's essential for human lifes. I would like not to depend on agro-industry.
I don't have especially technical skills, and I don't have work experience, just grape harvest and an internship to the Red Cross.
I'm available between november and may, but I'm flexible.
