Hi :) my name is Tomer, I’m 24 and I’m from Israel. I was born in the US and was raised in California until I was 10 years old (so English is my mother tongue). We moved to Israel when I was 10 and I’ve been living there ever since.
I’m an avid sports participant and fan. I love running and even ran a marathon in February 2022, I played basketball for 13 years until I enlisted to the army (something that is mandatory in Israel), I kitesurf, do yoga, I really enjoy watching sports and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is very important to me.
I love reading and learning new stuff - I usually read 3 books at once where usually 2 are for learning and 1 is fiction.
I am currently traveling in South America and I am very interested in learning about the culture of the country that I’m in, the language and meeting local people who can help me live a local lifestyle in the places that I’m traveling. I also love meeting new people and sharing stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love meeting new people, I would love to understand the local lifestyle of the places that I visit. I always try to eat at the local places and read about the culture of wherever I am and there is no better way than couchsurfing in my opinion.
