I live a “scraptastic" life--meaning I like to take a creative, thrifty approach to sustainability projects, and to my life as a whole. I find joy in cooking, building, and making art with materials on the verge of becoming waste. Growing up in NYC, I had infinite materials to work with.

I love learning from people who create what they consume in collaboration with nature. I crave non-transactional life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up in NYC, I was taught to keep my distance from strangers. This is something I’ve never wanted to do. When I find myself tracing common threads with a ‘stranger’, I feel so at home in the world.

As a surfer, I hope to melt into my host’s way of being for a time. As a host, I hope to create something worth melting into.
