I live a “scraptastic" life--meaning I like to take a creative, thrifty approach to sustainability projects, and to my life as a whole. I find joy in cooking, building, and making art with materials on the verge of becoming waste. Growing up in NYC, I’ve had infinite materials to work with.

I love learning from people who create what they consume in collaboration with nature. I hope to build the skills that will help me live in this way.

Growing up in NYC, I was taught to keep my distance from strangers. This is something I’ve never wanted to do. When I find myself tracing common threads with a ‘stranger’, I feel so at home in the world.

As a surfer, I hope to melt into my host’s way of being for a time. As a host, I hope to create something worth melting into.
