Hi! My name is Ania, I am a Polish girl studying currently Italian Studies in Warsaw. My biggest dream this year is travelling a lot. I'm very communicative, I love meeting new people and help others. I try to be the best person and develop myself every day.

I have three black cats, all saved from dying on the streets, they are my biggest love. In the future I would like to be a writer - since I was a child it has been my biggest dream, but to protect my future I am studying foreign languages, if writing didn't work out.

What is interesting about me? I love different and crazy ways to drink beer. I can teach you what we call in Poland: "lopez", "flanki" or "tornado" to drink beer as fast as you can as a competition - there is nothing more fun than that, I assure you.

I like parties and fun, but it is not the most crucial thing to me. On my solo trips I focus on sight-seeing and socializing with hosts. On daily basis I am a very calm person, I spend most of my time on reading, studying or working as a tutor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My presence on Couchsurfing is motivated by my enormous need to travel. I am a student, so often I can't afford expensive costs of accomodation, but that's not the most important. I love to meet locals and learn new things about countries I visit! I find it truly worthy to have friends all around the world, because we are all different and can make each other develop in many ways.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly I enjoy rock music: Nothing But Thieves, Imagine Dragons, My Chemical Romance... Except that I truly adore Bastille and Post Malone.

My favourite movies are Shutter Island and The Lord Of The Rings series.

For books my favourite genre is fantasy - Tolkien's, Siri Pettersen's books or realism with a little bit of magic like in Carlos Ruiz Zafon novels. Classic literature is my beloved too: Oscar Wilde, Joseph Conrad, Fiodor Dostojewski...
