À propos de moi
Photographer and content creator and full time traveler based in Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Hi, I’m Fahad Ahmed, a traveler, photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My life revolves around capturing moments, creating stories, and exploring the world one journey at a time. On Instagram (@fahadrakin), I share my travel adventures, blending stunning visuals with heartfelt narratives that inspire people to see the world from a fresh perspective.
I’ve always believed that travel is not just about ticking places off a list but about diving deep into the cultures, histories, and lives of the people who make those places special. This belief inspired me to join Couchsurfing—a platform that truly embodies the spirit of connection and exchange. Through Couchsurfing, I want to meet like-minded travelers, learn from their experiences, and show them the beauty of my home country, Bangladesh.
When I’m not behind the camera or on the road, I’m hosting travelers in my home, where I offer a private room with a shared washroom and an authentic taste of Bangladeshi hospitality. As a tour guide, I help visitors discover the breathtaking tea gardens of Sreemangal, the historical wonders of Dhaka, and the serene landscapes that often remain hidden from the usual tourist paths. For those seeking something extra, I’m always happy to arrange additional facilities or unique travel experiences to make their trip unforgettable. Also if you are looking for hill tracts permission in Bangladesh i can arrange that for you. so just let me know if you are looking for any of them.
Outside of travel, I’m a curious soul who loves meaningful conversations, sharing stories over a cup of tea, and exploring different perspectives. Couchsurfing, for me, is more than just hosting or staying—it’s about creating bonds, celebrating diversity, and building a global community of travelers.
Whether you’re passing through Dhaka or planning a deep dive into the heart of Bangladesh, I’d be thrilled to welcome you, share my experiences, and help you create memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s connect, explore, and inspire each other through the magic of travel

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I embarked on a 90-day solo adventure through Southeast Asia, exploring the vibrant cultures of Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Laos. Along the way, I challenged myself to hike five breathtaking volcanoes, standing on their summits and witnessing the raw power of nature. From the surreal beauty of Mount Bromo to the fiery glow of Kawah Ijen, each moment was a reminder of how extraordinary our planet is. That journey wasn’t just about places—it was about personal growth, unforgettable experiences, and the thrill of stepping out of my comfort zone to embrace the unknown.
