Hi, my name is Marie and I come from France!

This year I'm taking a break from my studies between my bachelor's degree and my future master's degree in order to travel. I spent a month in Thailand and then I'm going to Australia to work!
I took a Working Holiday Visa in order to have time to experience different jobs and places in Australia!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I installed the application when I was on Erasmus in Poland but I never used it. When I went to Australia I told myself that it was a good opportunity to meet people. And premises. I don’t know anything about Australia and it would be great to discover this country with people who live there!

Interests

In relation to my studies, I am interested in reportage and the study of man and civilizations. I practice a little photography and drawing! I like animals very much and I like to observe them (without disturbing them). At my father's house I lived on a plot of land in a small cottage, with dry toilets and nature all around. So I'm attached to nature and I like the "roots" aspect haha. I would love to go around the world with just a small backpack!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all styles of music but especially acoustic music or techno when it is in festival. As far as reading is concerned, I'm really a fan of Boris Vian, I've read a lot of his books! After that I read mostly classical literature...

It would be a pleasure to discuss and learn from each other. I love to learn things, especially when it comes to another culture or another view of life. I would also be happy to teach you some French words in exchange for learning a new language
