Hi everyone! I'm Irene, I have been vegetarian for 6 years (and I'm now starting my vegan journey) and I'm from Italy :)

A little bit about me!
I'm an outgoing girl, who enjoys spending time among different types of people and laughing and learning together! I enjoy reading interesting books, especially about nature and sustainability 'cause I really care about the environment and I love learning new things and that's why I'm trying to set my life with an eco-approach.

A little bit about my past!
After graduating high school I worked a variety of different jobs until I decided to further my education and attend a Pastry Academy 🎂🍪🧁 and that was the starting point of my career. However, lately, I understood that I was watching my life from the wrong perspective.

In the Summer of 2020, I attended a PDC (Permaculture Design Course) in Tuscany and that was where I had an epiphany! Those 2 weeks opened my eyes to a totally different way to see the world and gave me the inspiration to challenge myself, explore or just accept new parts of myself and change my life! To be honest I've always felt like something was wrong in my routine and after that experience, I began to understand better what I needed to change... It took me a couple of years to find the courage to do it and that's why I'm here now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to travel for a while to visit new places and to allow myself to learn as much as possible about Permaculture, how to live sustainably, how to grow a vegetable garden and of course to meet new interesting people and share our experiences!😊

I'm trying to put Yoga and meditation in my schedule more than what I did so far but it's not always that easy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

To me food is a passion! That's why I love cooking and experimenting with recipes where I sometimes mix Italian traditional dishes and new ingredients! I'm an excellent baker and love making bread and pizza. If you would like I would love to show you!
