I like making lists, so I'll try to talk about myself with a list :D

-I wouldn't consider myself either extroverted or introverted. I prefer to spend time with smaller groups. I can get talkative or prefer to just listen depending on the situation. I need time to myself as well.
-I was born on 14th of April, yet my name is September for some reason.
-I don't smoke, and I prefer not to drink as I don't enjoy the taste (but I do drink once in a while.)
-I'm a sweet tooth, I especially enjoy anything with chocolate!
-I'm friendly but people say that I've a serious expression on my face. I don't know why.
-I like cats more than dogs, but I find dogs pleasant as well. In Turkey you can find cats every corner in the streets!
-I like to read stuff, whether it's a book, the internet, a text heavy video game.. I think that my reading speed is average, though.
-My favorite colors are red, khaki green, light blue, dark brown and beige.
-I picked up many hobbies but sticked with a few. Maybe I'll go back to some at some point. Especially martial arts and the violin.
-I don't think that life's supposed to have a purpose. I'm closer to the Eastern look to life than the Western in that regard, I think? I feel like it needs to be like flying a kite. Everyone likes to write something philosophical on their about me on this website, so I wanted to explain my view a bit.. In my life I don't want to leave any area unexplored, so that I can feel peaceful about it. I will decide to do things without having a clear wish to do it or not to do it, because doing something will be better than doing nothing in most cases.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find a place to stay while I am travelling :p, to meet locals etc. of the place that I'm visiting also! That makes me feel more like I'm in that place, if thay makes any sense..

Interests

I am not actually that big on hiking, it isn't super popular where I live, but I am trying to get more into it as I am an aspiring biologist, even though I will likely work in a lab. I am thinking about specializing on something around neuroscience/molecular biology/genetics.

Besides reading, I like listening to very long yt video essays :p, and if I am curious about something or if someone asks me a question about a random thing, I will try to find the answer. Search engines are like the most popular thing, yet not used enough still!

I've always walked around, I prefer it to using transport if possible. Especially when I am in a new city, I would like to experience it slowly, I guess. I am not very sporty, so my favorite physical exercise is walking.

I have always enjoyed looking at and making art. I need to make more time for it!

I use various blogging websites, some image-based, some not. I used to write blogs too and I am planning to start a new one very soon actually.

I like journaling as well, I've been doing it ever since childhood. Though I didn't do it every single moment since then, I finished around thirty notebooks.

And I like to spend time with people I like and have enjoyable conservations/activities. This is really general and a given but, felt like adding that :D

My taste in everything tends to be rather varied, but I'll add some things that come to my mind right now. I like comedic and psychological aspects in media.

TV: castlevania, the good place, madoka magica, cowboy bebop
Music: lemon demon, arctic monkeys, kikuo. i like jazz and rock sometimes. Let's follow each other on Spotify if you want to!
Books: i mostly read non-fiction science books and novels for kids nowadays
