Overview
About Me
My real university is the world. For 5 years, I've spent the majority of my time travelling and learning on the way. I'm currently bike-backing across South East Asia to learn more and experience the culture, nature and people here. Not only that I'm also a member of EcoCupid, a platform that connects environmental projects across ASEAN together, this is also another reason for my bikepacking. I'll be really happy and grateful that I can learn something from you in my stay, I'm open to learn anything!
I'm also an abstract mural painter as well, so just tell me if you want your wall to look a bit "different" haha.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking for both a place to stay during my bike-packing trip, meaningful connections and ,most importantly, a leaning opportunity. It can be anything from woodworking to cooking to painting, if you are willing to teach, I'm willing to learn. I will also be happy to share my stories with you as well

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a particular preference for music though. One of my living motivations is to learn and to appreciate all the beauty of this world, so I will refrain from having a particular interest as I believe it will hinder me in recognizing the beauty in all things.
I'm now diving into the Great Books Collection from St. John's College. Its subject can range widely from eastern philosophy to Western views on mathematics and natural science.
For movies, I would love to have deep moving watching and discussion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled around South East Asia many times but this is the first time I do bike-backing. It's because I wanna experience things slowly and thoroughly.
I may not be the first to do a cross ASEAN bikebackping trip, but I will probably be the slowest to do it haha. It took me 5 months to get from Ben Tre to Nha Trang. It's just that I had wayyy too many amazing experiences along the way.
I spent 5 weeks travelling around the North of the USA, particularly Montana. I love the national parks there.
I have deep relationships with many groups of ethnic people around South East Asia.
I'm really anti-institutionalized as I quit almost all of the classes in my university (I still graduated tho haha) to travel around because I believe, to me, traveling is the real kind of learning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play multiple musical instruments including the guitar, harmonica, H'mong lip harp and a very little bit of piano. I can teach you if you want. Not only that I'm confident about my insight into various forms of music ranging from traditional Vietnamese music as Cải Lương and Tuồng to western classical, rap, metal (I'm secretly a metal vocal myself)
I can share with you my insight on art, especially fine art, I can teach the basics of drawing and painting!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have the lip harps of the H'mong people with me, so I can always perform for my friends along the way.
I also bring a pair of binoculars as well, we can do stargazing together. I would love to walk with you through the night sky. Astronomy is also something that I'm trying to learn along the way.
I can tell you stories, I'm quite confident that my stories will appeal to you!
Most importantly, I can paint your wall if you like. If you go to the Nha Trang Observatory, Thai Binh Duong university and many other random places around Vietnam, you will see my paintings there! If you can give me paint and freedom of expression, I will paint something for you. As an abstract painter, It will be really abstract tho so you have been warned haha.
