My name is Raul but you can call me Rulo.
I love creating or getting involved in all kinds of creative endeavors, whether its making music, writting a short film, taking pictures or creating cool animations on my computer... Im constantly trying to use my mind and my time on leaving something creative behind on this world.
I have lived on 3 different cities in Mexico, also I lived in the United States for a year before going to College.
I play the Guitar , the Drums, Ukulele and bass
I have 2 pets my Dog "Chora" and my cat "Mía"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel all around the globe to get to known all kinds of cultures and meeting new people (and pets)

Also Im developing my first set as an independent artist, and eventually Im going to tour Mexico to play my music and I believe Couchsurfing can make it possible

Music:
I love all kinds of music, I try to find new music all the time to get inspired on my own productions or for my clients. Son Cubano and Salsa for cooking, Jazz for unwinding, Cumbia for dancing, I love Rock Festivals, Reggae with some ouid, Techno for party and Mexican "Norteño" when feeling sad...

Movies:
I enjoy exploring different countries through their cinema, also love a good story no matter the genre

Books: I dont Read as often as I would like to admit. I tend to start a lot of books but not finishing them
Also I dont read a lot of novels I dable betwteeen philosophy and Science divulgation (maybe thats why I cant finish any book lol)

But my favorite book ever has to be "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I put togheter a film club along with some friends, we screened "artsy" films (mostly award winning or thought provoking movies) every Monday and got up to 140 people in attendance. Good movies, a lot of popcorn, great friends and a good talk afterwards

I can teach you:
how to make music, how to take good pictures with any camera, how to film yourself or your product or service, how to use design or editing software (for music, photos, video, animation, streaming) , how to play the guitar, the drums, or the bass, how to start speaking basic spanish

I want to learn italian, dutch, and japanese. I want to learn to snowboard, surfing. Im going to learn how to play the piano, the saxophone, the accordion, trumpet and a lot of percussions
