About Me

Hi!
My name is Celly, I'm from France but I live between France and Mexico (depends of the period of the year). I do work as an engineer for a contruction company.
with almost 30 visited countries, I do love travel, meet new peoples, makes friends all around the world and learn new cultures and traditions, play basketball as well!

Anyone can denied that there's is any better moment than the excitation of a coming flight day. Just to wake up in the morning, take a fast coffe while looking at my luggage which is already done since few days ago. Then realised that i'll be soon earing the bell of London, enjoy a bortsch/pelmeny in Saint Petersburg, drink a cà phê sữa đá in Hanoï, climb the Teotihuacan Pyramids in Mexico or just enjoy a loco cocktail in a beautiful carribean white sands beach.
Without forgetting the memorable travel experiences that I am about to live and the different cultures that I am about to discover.

So If you are also excited by such unforgettable moments in life and you are also a passionate traveler open to new experiences then do not hesitate to write to me cause we are probably travel compatible !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a passionate traveler and I want more than anything to share unique experiences and create links with travelers from all over the world. I'm looking for authentic adventures, so I thought Couchsurfing is the perfect platform to connect with local hosts around the world

Music, Movies, and Books

Hi, there are so many different styles of music! haha
Urban films and street literature are what I enjoy, so here are some examples of my favorites.
I would say gangsta music, reggaeton, African music is my groove, my vibe, my style. I love deep bass, punchy beats and raw, authentic lyrics that tell the facts of life.

Music:
-2Pac, Dr Dre, Nas, Master P, E40 and many many more!
-Santa Cartel, Brownside, Mr Criminal.
-Youssou N'dour
-Kohh, Awich,

Movies:
I'm a fan of stories with authentic characters, intense plots and explosive action scenes. My favorite gangsta movies include 'Boyz n the Hood', 'Blood In Blood Out', 'Scarface' which chronicles the rise and fall of a Cuban criminal in Miami, and 'Training Day' which highlights the lives of police in dangerous areas of Los Angeles. I also love films that explore the challenges and triumphs of hip-hop culture, like "8 Mile" with Eminem and "Notorious" which chronicles the life of rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

Book:
I like to escape with a good book. I enjoy novels that delve into inner-city life, with their brutal realities, complex characters and gripping plots. Some of my favorite books include "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sister Souljah, which tells the story of a young woman growing up on the streets of Brooklyn trying to survive in a harsh environment, "Monster" by Sanyika Shakur, which chronicles the life of a gang member in Los Angeles, and "Pimp: The Story of My Life" by Iceberg Slim, which offers a gripping insight into the life of a pimp on the streets of Chicago. I also like to read biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will never forget my visit to the archaeological site of Teotihuacan in a hot air balloon, it was like realizing a dream of flying over a place that is proof of such a rich and proud civilization that many still feel belonging to today.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could help you with the French language and also share information about my culture, local traditions, or give advice on places to visit in my city or in my country. I can organize guided tours or activities to introduce my guests to my region.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to share my travel experiences with the community by leaving comments on the profiles of guests and hosts I've stayed with. This will help other members make an informed decision when looking for accommodation.
I would also like to share my knowledge and advice on the Couchsurfing forums or in discussion groups. Answer questions from other members about travel, destinations, travel tips, etc.
Sharing meals, conversations, stories and experiences with my hosts/guests and other members of the community is also a great way to bond and promote the friendliness and openness that is at the heart of the Couchsurfing spirit.
