Overview
About Me
Hello, I am Jack from Taiwan, and I am also a hearing-impaired person. I came to France for a working holiday and to experience French life. Although I am hearing-impaired, I hope to receive understanding and inclusiveness when communicating through typing and writing.
I am an independent and quiet person, good at observing new things. I will fly to Marseille, France on July 1st, and I am very excited about it.
My work experience includes being a service staff member, a stock clerk, and an agricultural worker. Most of the roles I have taken on are supportive in nature. Due to my special circumstances, I do not usually interact directly with customers, but I can handle customer needs, and I am happy to do small tasks.
I once went to Australia for a working holiday and lived there for seven months. That experience gave me wonderful memories, and I am very grateful to my brave self for challenging myself at that time, so it was very worthwhile.
To be honest, I feel very lonely in this world. I have an independent and responsible attitude towards life. Therefore, I have been self-taught all along, living my life, creating, and facing problems.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an art-loving working holiday traveler, this is my first time using Couchsurfing. I hope to explore France on a limited budget while deeply understanding the local culture and lifestyle. By staying with locals, I aim to better adapt to the rhythm of life in France and draw inspiration from it. Besides using Couchsurfing, I will also carry my art supplies during my travels to capture beautiful scenery and touching moments anytime, anywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy watching movies, and I recommend an inspiring film called The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It's really good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once stayed with a host in Australia and experienced a natural lifestyle, completely disconnected from the internet, and I was very happy. I learned how to sweep the yard, collect branches, and ride an ATV. Therefore, I am very grateful to my host for allowing me to stay for two weeks and for making my stay very comfortable
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to teach drawing and photography, and to learn composition and perspective
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am hearing impaired, but this does not prevent me from communicating and sharing my interests with others. I enjoy drawing and photography, and I would be happy to share my skills in these areas with you. Additionally, I can introduce you to Taiwanese culture and share interesting experiences from my time in Australia. I look forward to spending a wonderful time with you.
