About Me
Unfortunately I lost an access to my old account, so I had to create a new one. Please check the old one to see my, nearly 50, references (I was told that the link doesn't work while you use application, but it works fine from the browser level):

Hi, My name is Kris (Krzysztof) and I'm from Poland. I've lived for some time in Burgas (Bulgaria). But it looks that my days in Bulgaria are about to finish. I think that after this trip I'll be going back home in Poland.
Some basic info about me: I finished university in 2003 and decided to go for a gap year. But I liked it so much that I can't stop. It's so great to travel through the world meeting amazing people. Why should I stop? :) Of course now and then I do stop. Either to work or when I feel homesick. The covid time was difficult for me, coz it was time when I was grounded for long time, not able to travel much. But now, again I'm back on the road And I'm trying to make up for the lost time.
What is my philosophy?
I don't have any really. Just simply use the life as much as I can without harming anyone on my way. I just want to see and do as much as possible before I get to old to move. That's my philosophy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined CS to host, surf and go to the meetings. So that way I can meet so interesting people.
Before joining CS I had traveled for long time and I always met someone on my way who offered me a cup of tea or a bed, but I never used the internet to help it happen. My friends who used this website before told me it's a great way to meet interesting people and convinced me to try it. So I decided to give it a go and I hope that with help of this website, and the other similar ones I use as well (I can't paste here the link to my profiles in the other websites, coz CS blocks my account then), I'll keep meeting local people far more often than before.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all sort of music. Nearly all kinds, depending on my mood. But if I had to pick one kind of music it would be old good rock.
My favorite writer is Ryszard Kapuscinski. I tend to read mostly biographies (something I hated as a child) and history books now. But I don't escape from novels neither.
I haven't seen a good movie for a long time. The last great one I saw was "Requiem for a dream".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time when I was 17 I got on a train alone and went to the other side of my country, spend two weeks trekking in the mountains and went back home safely. I was very proud of myself. And that's how the whole traveling thing kicked off. Many more interesting stories happened since then but I'll tell you about them when you pay me a visit or decide to host me :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy and keen to learn everything! I'm open to learn new stuff and to look from the new perspective at the things I already know.
And regarding teaching you. I don't have any special skills, but I have seen many places and things and I lived a wee bit (but I'm not that old :) ) so I guess I know some stuff so I can give an advice or two :)
