About Me
My name is Abdullah Al Mamun, and I reside in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Since the age of 17, I have embarked on solo backpacking journeys. At the age of 20, I took my first international solo trip to Malaysia, and later ventured through numerous Indian states both alone and with friends. Additionally, I have explored solo in Singapore, Indonesia, China, Dubai, Uzbekistan, Maldives, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In 2014, I traveled to Saudi Arabia accompanied by my mother.
Currently, I am the owner of a Steel Wholesale Business in Bangladesh. As a successful Seattle businessman, I have been able to save a significant amount each year to fund my travels. I meticulously plan and save money from my business income to support my passion for exploration.
Being an enthusiastic explorer, I possess a profound love for travel and an ambitious goal of visiting all 197 countries in the world by 2030. Over the past decade, I have already visited Seventeen countries at least once and even some countries onece more further deepening my appreciation for the incredible diversity our world offers. Music, Movies, and Books
I find solace in the soothing melodies of soft music, the knowledge and enchantment found within historical books, and the lighthearted joy that funny movies bring.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my first international trip to Malaysia in 2009, I found myself in a remarkable situation where I had the opportunity to save someone from imminent danger. A person was on the verge of being sold by malicious individuals, and with my newfound courage, I stepped in and intervened. This experience remains a profound and awe-inspiring moment for me, as it demonstrated my ability to face challenges head-on, despite it being my initial venture abroad.
Teach, Learn, Share
I crave for experiences that broaden my horizons, the universal language of English that connects us all, those precious moments that shape our lives, and the rich tapestry of cultures that make our world so vibrant.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy a cozy atmosphere and don't feel the need to provide a list of rules for my guests. I believe we can naturally find a comfort zone where we can connect and share experiences.
As long as everyone keeps things clean, it brings me joy and contentment.
