About Me
Vibrant Traveler Seeking Cultural Connections and Dance Rhythms!
Hello there! I'm a male student pursuing my education degree at the University of Natural Sciences in Trondheim, and I'm excited to embark on new adventures through Couchsurfing. I have a deep passion for traveling and exploring the world and making meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds.
One of my most significant interests is dance, and I'm particularly captivated by the vibrant street dance culture. The energy and creativity of street dance have always fascinated me, and I love immersing myself in its various styles. Afrobeats music and dance hold a special place in my heart, as the rhythmic beats and infectious moves never fail to uplift my spirits. Additionally, Jamaican Dancehall has always intrigued me with its unique style and infectious rhythms.
Apart from my love for dance and music, I have gained professional experience in various fields. I have worked as a chef, honing my culinary skills and creating delectable dishes that bring people together. As a fencing mentor, I have enjoyed guiding others in developing Olympic Saber fencing, fostering discipline and focus. I have also served as an assistant teacher at the university, where I supported students in their educational journey.

Greetings, fellow adventurers! As a lover of music, movies, and books, I'm excited to share my eclectic tastes and dive into immersive experiences through Couchsurfing. Let's explore the vibrant world of culture together!
When it comes to music, I have a diverse range of favorites that span across genres. From the smooth vibes of Masego and the infectious beats of Stromae to the captivating melodies of Kybba and Burna Boy, my musical journey knows no bounds. I'm also a fan of Tyler ICU, Uncle Waffles, Koffee, Shensea, Vybz Kartel, Shae Jacobs, and many more talented artists. My musical tastes cover Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Funk, House, and Hip hop, allowing me to groove to a wide variety of rhythms.
In the realm of cinema, I find myself captivated by the Marvel Universe and the awe-inspiring stories it weaves. The thrilling adventures of heroes like Black Panther in both the first and second installments have left an indelible mark on me. Additionally, I'm a fan of Studio Ghibli films, which transport me to magical worlds filled with wonder and imagination. Among my all-time favorite movies are "Kimi no Nawa" (Your Name), the heartwarming "Heartstopper" series, and the high-energy dance extravaganza of the "Step Up" franchise.
Turning the pages to literature, I have a particular fondness for Korean light novels like "Solo Leveling," which transport me into immersive virtual worlds brimming with action and excitement. Japanese manga series like "Bleach" and "Naruto" have also captured my imagination with their captivating characters and intricate storytelling. Alice Oseman's "Heartstopper" books have touched my heart with their tender exploration of love, friendship, and self-discovery.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hey there! I've got an amazing experience to share with you that had a huge impact on my life. I had the chance to work as a teaching assistant in a boarding school called a "Norwegian Folkehøyskole," which is all about personal development and taking a break from regular academics. I was hired because I really connected with the students and had a passion for organizing cool events and creating opportunities for them.
One of the things I did was teach fencing as a beginners' class, and it was such a blast! The students had a great time and felt like they belonged. I kept doing this for multiple seasons with new groups of students, and it was awesome to see a whole culture around this niche sport develop within the folkehøyskole. We even organized events that brought together schools from different regions, giving our students the chance to mingle and gain more experience.
Being a teaching assistant in this school was such a rewarding experience. It was amazing to see the students grow, not just in their fencing skills, but also in their confidence and overall personal development. Creating an environment that fostered teamwork and discipline was so fulfilling, and it's something I'll always cherish.

Let's roll up our sleeves, chop some ingredients, and create delicious meals that will transport us to different corners of the world.
Now, here's where the excitement really ramps up: I'm eager to immerse myself in the local language and culture of the country I'm visiting. Even if I'm just starting out as a beginner, I'd love to learn the basics and practice conversational skills with you. There's something incredibly special about connecting with locals and discovering the unique traditions, customs, and flavors that make your culture so rich and vibrant.
When it comes to sharing, I'm bursting with stories, experiences, and a love for dance and music. Let's hit the dance floor together, groove to the rhythms of your local music scene, and immerse ourselves in the vibrant energy of live events.
