I had the chance to work as a teaching assistant in a boarding school called a "Norwegian Folkehøyskole," which is all about personal development and taking a break from regular academics. I was hired because I really connected with the students and had a passion for organizing cool events and creating opportunities for them.

One of the things I did was teach fencing as a beginners' class, and it was such a blast! The students had a great time and felt like they belonged. I kept doing this for multiple seasons with new groups of students, and it was awesome to see a whole culture around this niche sport develop within the folkehøyskole.
