Overview
About Me
Hey folks, I'm Firat and I'm currently on a 2 month trip to circumvent the world. If we ever get a chance to meet, I'll be sharing my most amazing stories and I would love to hear the stories you want to share. Although I love cooking I wouldn't call myself a great cook, but if you're up for something improvisational you're here for a treat. Call me for the best places to visit when you're in town.
When I travel I love experiencing the streets of the town from the eyes of a local. I love history, languages and cultures. When I'm not travelling you can see me skydiving, bungee jumping or doing some other crazy thing.
If you were ever interested in video games, I would love to share my stories what games are like from the eyes of a game developer.
Hope we meet each other one day and have a great day!!

My favorite TV Animations are Avatar: The Last Airbender and Mob Psycho 100.
Books: Favorite authors are Dostoyevski and George Orwell. Love reading the classics, books about history, business related books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exploring the Arctic Wonders of Longyearbyen: The northernmost city in the world
One of the most extraordinary adventures I've had was journeying to Longyearbyen, the northernmost city in the world. Nestled on the remote archipelago of Svalbard in the Arctic Ocean, this unique destination is a testament to the resilience of both nature and the human spirit.
Longyearbyen is a place of extreme contrasts and stunning beauty. With its snow-capped mountains, polar bears, and mesmerizing glaciers, it feels like a world apart. My trip there was a blend of Arctic wilderness and the warm hospitality of the locals, creating an experience that's etched in my memory forever.
During my stay, I explored the breathtaking landscapes, embarking on glacier hikes, dog sledding adventures, and hunting for northern lights. The thing is Svalbard is so up north that they should be called southern lights for a Longyearbyener.
The close-knit community of Longyearbyen taught me about the value of connection and cooperation in the face of extreme conditions. Residents have a deep respect for the environment, and their lifestyle is a reflection of their commitment to sustainable living.
An important proportion of the population were travelers. Meeting travelers in Svalbard was unlike anywhere else. Everyone I've met were here for one thing. Seeing the north. Everyone who had been saving their earnings to achieve their life long dreams to explore the arctic and see the northern lights. When I was in Svalbard, I've once remembered again why I loved to travel and why I loved to meet people.
