Hello, my name is Sierk and I'm 19 y/o. I just graduated from school in Germany and want to try travelling on a budget for a bit. I would like to connect with locals wherever I travel and learn about their culture and everyday life. I believe Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to do that.

I enjoy learning and trying out new things, especially experiencing other cultures. I love sports, being outdoors, music, travelling to new places, trying new foods, and engaging in new activities. At home, I spend my time hanging out with friends, playing football and tennis, bouldering, and playing video games. I'm also very interested in technology and physics.

I will be travelling to Japan from September till December.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This Fall I want to visit Japan. It will be my second time travelling alone and my second time couch surfing. I couch surfed before last year in the UK. I met amazing hosts in England and want to try it again in Japan.
I really like meeting local people and learn about how they live and couch surfing is probably best way to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of genres but mainly German and English Hip-Hop/Rap but I also like Indie and some classical orchestra music like Hans Zimmer.
My favourite books are probably Harry Potter and Eragon.
For movies I'm not so sure about my favourite.
My favourite shows are Rick & Morty and Dark.
