Hi! I’m Mayté, a classical guitarist from Mexico City—traveler, dreamer, and culture lover. I’m exploring Europe with my partner Oscar (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2019936343), and we share a passion for history, gastronomy, and all forms of art.

I believe the soul of a city is found in its people, not just its landmarks. My partner, Oscar, and I are embarking on a cultural journey through Europe from mid-December to mid-January. Our route will take us through Milan, Venice, Rome, Athens, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Lucerne, Paris, and Nice.

As a musician, I find that sharing stories and experiences with local hosts enriches my travels in a way that hotels never could. We're on Couchsurfing to connect with people, share our culture (and maybe some music!), and learn from yours. We would be honored and very thankful if you'd consider hosting us. We are flexible and appreciative of any space you can offer, and we will be sure to leave your home better than we found it.

I'm a huge fan of television that can make you laugh while telling a unique story. My sense of humor is a mix of the clever, character-driven comedy of shows like The Office and The Simpsons, and the wonderfully surreal worlds of Wilfred and SpongeBob SquarePants. I also have a deep appreciation for beautiful animation and storytelling, which is why the charming and mysterious miniseries Over the Garden Wall is one of my all-time favorites. I believe a shared love for a good show is a great way to connect, and I'm always happy to trade recommendations or just relax with a great comedy

- I always travel with Oscar (see his profile), and we’re flexible with any sleeping arrangement (sofa, mattress, futon).
- We usually stay 2–5 nights per host, but we’re happy to adjust to your preferences.
- We respect schedules, rules, and try to integrate into our hosts’ daily life.
